DAY 1 = 1 NIGHT AT LAKE DULUTI LODGE, ARUSHA


Includes full English breakfast, all drinks (excluding fine wines, champagnes and premium spirits) teas and coffees, internet access, laundry, coffee farm tour, baby sitting facilities, guided scenic walks around the lake, guided village tour and government taxes.

DAY 2, 3 AND 4 = 3 NIGHTS AT &BEYOND KLEINS CAMP OR &BEYOND GRUMETI SERENGETI TENTED CAMP OR &BEYOND SERENGETI UNDER CANVAS, SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK


  • Morning Game Drive - As dawn breaks over the Serengeti, a gentle tap on your door will wake you to the delights of a new day. Your guide will discuss what you hope to see that day over fragrant tea or coffee and morning biscuits or rusks. Set out in an open 4x4 safari vehicle in the company of your guide. If the Great Migration is passing through the area, your guide will catch up with it and attempt to catch the wildebeest crossing the Grumeti River. Even if the Migration is not in the area, the Grumeti region has excellent resident game. Your guide will break for a hot drink and a snack to refresh you

  • Breakfast - Return to the Camp for a delicious breakfast, with platters of fruit and cheese followed by a selection of hot breakfast dishes. Choose from eggs, oats, waffles or a number of other options. If you prefer, you can take a packed breakfast and prolong your morning game drive.

  • Lunch - There's time for a quick siesta before lunch, which is served on colourful decks overlooking the river.

  • Afternoon Tea - Cool off with a refreshing dip in the Camp's pool or watch the frolics of our resident family of hippo. Over a late afternoon tea, your ranger will discuss what you hope to see during the afternoon game drive. 

  • Afternoon Game Drive -  Head off in search of the wildlife in the cooler late afternoon. The herds heada out to drink before settling down for the night, while the predators are warming up for the night's hunting. Stop at a scenic spot for sundowners as the sun sinks beneath the endless plains.

  • Dinner - Return to the Camp for a mouthwatering dinner prepared over traditional fires, jikos or in outdoor ovens. Relax around a blazing fire in the boma and discuss the adventures of the day before heading back to your tented suite.

DAY 5 AND 6 = 2 NIGHTS AT &BEYOND NGORONGORO CRATER LODGE, NGORONGORO CONCERVATION AREA


  • Breakfast - As the dawn begins to tinge the morning sky, a soft knock on the door announces your butler with a wake-up call and a fragrant cup of tea or coffee. An air of anticipation for the day ahead hangs over the breakfast table as the morning meal is served.

  • Game Drive - Discuss your hopes for the day's wildlife viewing with your guide as a winding road takes you through the thick forests on the Crater's rim. With tens of thousands of animals inhabiting the Crater floor, game drives are likely to produce some exceptional sightings, perhaps even the entire Big Five in one day! 

  • Lunch - Stop at one of the designated picnic sites on the Crater floor for a delicious packed lunch. Surrounded by  some of Africa's most iconic scenery,as well as masses of wildlife, the appetite is sharpen and the taste buds awakened. Continue of your wildlife adventure after lunch, returning to the Lodge in the early afternoon.

  • Afternoon Tea - Indulge in a decadent afternoon tea or a sundowner cocktail as you watch the play of light on the breathtaking Crater views from the comfort of your private suite.

  • Dinner - Mouthwatering tastes and delicate textures do their best to distract guests from the splendour of the  Lodge's dining room. Magnificent designs delight the eye, while fragrances and flavours tempt the palate.

DAY 7, 8, 9 AND 10 = 4 NIGHTS AT &BEYOND MNEMBA ISLAND LODGE, ZANZIBAR


  • Breakfast - At a pre-arranged time, a friendly knock will sound on your door and morning tea and coffee will be delivered. As soon as you are ready, this will be followed by a delicious breakfast delivered directly to your banda. Feast on a selection of fruits and cheeses, as well as toast, jam and a selection of hot dishes cooked to order.

  • Morning - Spend a leisurely morning on the beach, snorkelling along the nearby coral reefs or exploring the island's shoreline in a sea kayak. 

  • Lunch - The guest areas provide a cool, shaded sanctuary for a light, refreshing lunch.

  • Afternoon Dive - After a brief siesta to the sound of the waves, it's time to meet our diving instructors and venture into the balmy ocean waters. A short boat ride takes you out to the reefs, where you can explore the colourful marine life. 

  • Dinner - Back from your dive, wash off the salt in the glass beaded shower. There's time to relax before a succulent seafood dinner, served right on the beach, with your toes in the sand. Stroll along the ocean's edge before you drift off to sleep with the haunting sound of the waves playing in your head.
